We invite you to join us on a deeply restoring journey of self discovery leading to self love. Take a break from trying so hard. Leave your “shoulds” and “shouldn’ts” behind. Relearn self compassion. Allow yourself to rest and rejuvenate. Cultivate a kinder inner dialogue. Become inspired and excited about your life. 

We are Lisa Dumas, Yoga Teacher and Somatic Coach and Aimee Pruitt, Ayurveda Practitioner, Yoga teacher and RN and our lives have been transformed by our practices. Because of the tools we now share with others, we conquered disordered anxiety and panic (Lisa) and profound burnout and grief (Aimee) Together, we are grateful to offer an experience that our participants have called “life changing”.

Our retreat includes daily hatha, yin and restorative yoga along with empowering teachings to link into self worth, to understand the messages in emotions and to experience peace of the present moment. 

You will learn to tap into the wisdom of your body and how to balance anxiousness and heavy emotions with radical self care, ritual and honouring the transition season of fall.

In this retreat you will be invited to create a new, kinder relationship with your body and connect with the deep wisdom within. 

Based on Ayurveda's central teaching that the body is born with inherent wisdom to move back toward balance, you will be offered practices to soothe the body and mind including a new way of enjoying food, from preparation down to how and where we eat.

Through a unique and relaxing yoga experience, you will be given powerful inquiry to begin to gain insights into the many aspects of who you are. You will begin to discern between the unhelpful inner voice and the true, peaceful teacher within by taking pen to paper and journaling your exploration of self. 

You will be guided through breath practices and meditations to support the calm retrieval of the present moment.      

Your health and well being is your most precious resource. Invest in yourself to gain a vast toolbox of techniques to root yourself in authenticity, worthiness and self acceptance.  

Delicious, nutritious morning snacks, a catered dinner on Friday evening and lunch on Saturday and Sunday with the intention of easing of anxiety and balancing the body will be provided throughout the weekend.

Additional services such as Reiki, massage or acupuncture can be arranged during the retreat for an additional fee.
