Join me for a 12 week journey that combines the wisdom of Ayurveda, (the sister science of yoga) the healing aspects of Yoga and meditation, heart-centered coaching and personalized support to live your best life.

What The Radiant Warrior Journey IS..... 

The Radiant Warrior program is a 12 week, women-only group of brave souls who are ready to feel inspired by their lives.  Women who are motivated to take charge of their day to day routines to support, nourish and heal their bodies, minds, hearts and souls.  

Prior to the start of the program, you receive a personal consultation, online by video conferencing or in person if you are in Central Ohio to establish your one-of-a-kind constitution. This will help you and I identify your unique characteristics and tendencies. 

As a group, we will meet weekly, live online to review new content, discuss our struggles and triumphs and provide support and compassion to one another in sisterhood. Can't make our live gatherings?  No worries! All meetings will be recorded and uploaded to the Facebook page to view at your leasure.  

You will have access to a private, secret Radiant Warrior Facebook page to locate your learning materials, chat with your fellow Radiant Warriors and post your challenges or successes.   

At the end of 12 weeks, you and I will meet privately again for another consultation to establish a long term plan for vitality and vibrant living.   

 

Module 1 Daily Routines:  In Week 1 and Week 2, we explore your daily routines, what is supporting you and what is not.  These first 2 weeks will provide the framework for the next 10 weeks.  How we do one thing is how we do everything and we will be looking at EVERYTHING that we do on a daily basis and we will be making changes that support a journey to Radiant Living!  

Module 2 Nourishment:  According to the Oxford Dictionary nourishment is "The food necessary for growth, health, and good condition."  We will be looking at nourishment through the lense of Ayurveda (the sister science of Yoga). Ayurveda promotes that each one of us is one-of-a-kind and our approach to food and eating should be just as individualized.  No "one size fits all" mentality here.  We will learn to listen to our bodies and eat accordingly.  Food is not the enemy and nourishment does not just apply to how we use food to support and heal our bodies.  We will learn to nourish our lives through activity, spirituality, relationships and our environment.  

Module 3 Rest and Restoration:  In our society, productivity is a badge of honor.  We may hear often how we need to do more, be more and make more.  BUT, we are suffering like never before.  Our fast paced, on the go lifestyles come with some pitfalls.  It can show up as chronic fatigue, insomnia, stress, anxiety, hormonal disruptions or overall depletion.  In weeks 5 and 6, we will look at our sleep habits, how we can incorporate and embrace downtime and explore and create routines that allow for deep rest and restoration.  

Module 4  Movement:  What do you like to do for fun?  Are you in a rut when it comes to activity and movement?  We will begin with simple, accessible to all yoga sequences and expand to what you have always wanted to do.  Have you always wanted to try surfing?  You will have a group of women cheering you on!  Do you need a partner to chat on the phone while you go on walks to keep you accountable and motivated.  You will find one here!  Never tried yoga because "I'm not flexible" enough?  Here is your chance to try yoga in a safe, no judgement container.   Our bodies were made to move, so let's find movement that supports and heals us.   

Module 5 Emotions:  Ugh!  Feel my feelings?  No, thank you!  But you know what?  There is a lesson and a gift in each emotion.  And if we don't honor those lessons or gifts, emotions can get stuck and cause havoc in our bodies and minds.  As Nikki Myers says, "The issues are in our tissues", and if we don't deal with our emotions, they show back up later in bigger, uglier ways.  Stuck emotions can show up as chronic pain, fatigue, addictions or destructive behaviors.  My personal journey began with finally dealing with chronic grief.  For years, I was terrified to feel my feelings but I am here to promise you that on the other side of fear is freedom.  

Module 6 Beauty:  "A combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight."  When did beauty become a goal that involved manipulating and starving our bodies?  This program looks at beauty from the eyes of the beholder.  How do you surround yourself with beauty?  What is your commute to work like?  What does your bedroom look like?  Do you like the clothes that you wear? Do you have a connection with nature?  Are you surrounding yourself with beauty that creates harmony and healing?   Instead of using "beauty" as a way to change ourselves, we will use beauty to create an environment that nurtures and heals us.  

What the Radiant Warrior program is NOT......

  • A quick fix, a diet, psychotherapy, does not replace medical recommendations from your licensed practitioner or physician.  It is not easy.  Changing your day to day routine takes hard work but makes lasting change possible.  It will not end at 12 weeks.  You will find a group of women that support and care for you long after this program is over.  The work will always be there to support your journey through life's ups and downs.
